Terrible service. As soon as I walked in the lady at the bar said we can't come in with our iced coffees bc 'this is a bar'. I said we're just going to the arcade, she said no outside drinks. So we finished our coffee outside. I walked back in and the same coffee that I was drinking is sitting on someone's table and 3 people walked in with canned drinks and I seen a few kids with their own water bottles (Stanley's). Pro tip: Be consistent.

I attempted to buy a beer outside (after having been served previously inside) and the bartender refused my valid ID. I’m 26, and was cooperative in showing credit cards, and even my health insurance card. He then insisted on taking a photo of me with my id, which I rightfully refused - an unreasonable, inappropriate, and violating request. My friends showed their California ids, and they are in their 30s. He remarked on the differences, even though he acknowledged that CA ids and even Michigan ids change every year. He proceeded to kick us out for absolutely no reason. We were respectful and not intoxicated, just trying to enjoy the music. His escalation was completely uncalled for, and I will never come back. When he asked to take a photo, he added “it would be funny.” This added to erratic and unreasonable behavior of the bartender. Having asked to speak to the manager, he noted “you don’t want to do that.” I insisted, which resulted in him coming back asking us to leave.

Super cute arcade bar! We were able to get a card with credits and quarters easily from the front desk/bar. Fairly expansive canned drink selection and a couple of taps, no spirits or cocktails. We did go late, ~1 hour before close, so the outdoor bar wasn’t open so I can’t confirm the options there. Do have hotdogs and a vending machine in the back with snacks.

The Coin Slot is a real fun bar with lots of games available. They have a great selection of beers and drinks, and the bartenders seemed friendly. Prices weren’t too outlandish, and I loved the feel of the place. The TVs were mostly showing retro shows, which is fun to see, and the games ranged from video games to pinball and air hockey. There’s lots of fun to be had. My one issue might be that I swear the controls for their Mortal Kombat II machine weren’t working quite right, although it’s possible I’ve gotten much worse over the years. The Coin Slot is definitely a cool spot, and I think I’d visit again next time I’m in TC.

Typical arcade, mostly older style arcade games, nice they have a bar to grab some drinks. The claw games were awful lol doesn’t grab well at all no fun, I was happy to see some newer games added now. It would be nice to see some updates to make it have a cleaner feel, bathrooms could use some love, ventilation system would be great it gets very stuffy in there. The new point on a card system is nice. Awesome to have in town during the cold months to do something different.
